Lobby Night Calls to Legislators
Phone calls are among the most effective means of contact with elected officials. If possible, please call your state senator and delegates (phone numbers below) between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Monday, February 15 to share with them the planned Lobby Night issues . A script and phone numbers are below. Find your STATE legislative district.

I am a Catholic constituent who planned on attending Catholic Lobby Night. Though I am unable to be there in person, I still want to share my views:
• In discussion over the state budget, please oppose cuts to programs that serve poor and vulnerable Marylanders.
• Please support the BOAST Tax Credit, Senate Bill 385 and House Bill 946, so that the state does not lose the incredible savings and service that Catholic schools provide.
• Please support House Bill 371, which devotes 5% of the Maryland Stem Cell Research Fund to adult stem cell research for sickle cell disease. This will ensure the Fund is used for its stated purpose: to produce cures and treatments.
• Please oppose Senate Bill 404, which would weaken the strict evidence requirements the General Assembly passed last year for death penalty cases and increase the chance of convicting an innocent person.
• Please uphold marriage as the union of one man and one woman, by opposing Senate Bill 582 and House Bill 808, and by supporting Senate Bill 852.
