Read the stories our Maryland Catholic newspapers wrote in October about the new Governor-Elect Larry Hogan and his stance of issues of importance to Catholics in our state.
Every election year, the Maryland Catholic Conference surveys the candidates about their positions on issues of interest to Catholics. You can use the links below to research what your newly elected legislators may have responded on our issue statements. Just click on the office you wish to search below, fill out the fields on the new page that opens up and hit "filter."
The candidates were asked to either “Agree” or “Disagree” with a list of issue statements (see left side of the new page). No response to a statement means the candidate did not choose a position on that issue. They also had the opportunity to add a comment if they wished.
